C-Positive Initiative

The C-Positive Initiative is a community-focused initiative of the Rising India Research Foundation aimed at transforming how cancer is perceived. Recognizing that the word “cancer” is often associated with fear, uncertainty, and stigma, C-Positive seeks to shift this narrative toward hope, positivity, and resilience, while remaining grounded in the lived realities of cancer care.

Launched on July 2, the initiative encourages individuals and communities to adopt a more positive and supportive outlook toward cancer. C-Positive emphasizes that positivity is not about denying challenges, but about fostering emotional strength, dignity, and psychological well-being throughout the cancer journey.

A key component of the C-Positive Initiative is the introduction of a curated C-Positive product line, developed for cancer patients as well as the general public. These products are designed to offer comfort, encouragement, and a sense of connection, while symbolizing solidarity with those affected by cancer. Funds generated by the C-Positive collection directly contribute to the well-being of cancer patients and support the long-term sustainability of Rising India Research Foundation’s psycho-oncology services.

C-Positive Awards

In addition to its community efforts, the C-Positive Initiative also presents the C-Positive Awards, recognizing individuals, organizations, and projects that exemplify courage, positivity, and impactful support for the cancer community. These awards celebrate efforts that inspire hope, encourage resilience, and create meaningful change in the lives of those affected by cancer. By highlighting such contributions, the awards reinforce the initiative’s mission of positivity, empathy, and collective responsibility.
