Cancer Support Forum

Cancer Screening Camp

The Cancer Support Forum, initiated by the Rising India Research Foundation, is a collaborative platform created to bring together cancer support organizations, survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and mental health experts with a shared goal of strengthening psychosocial care within cancer services. The forum serves as a space for dialogue, coordination, and collective learning among stakeholders working across the cancer support ecosystem.

Through the forum, Rising India facilitates structured interactions among leading cancer support organizations, including YouWeCan Foundation, Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), Umeed Foundation, BMT Support Foundation, Ease and Support, Bhaktiii Group of Dispensaries, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Aatman Matrimonial, and other community-based cancer support groups. These engagements focus on sharing best practices, understanding on-ground challenges, strengthening referral pathways, and identifying gaps in emotional and psychosocial support for cancer patients and caregivers.

Forum activities include facilitated group discussions, experience-sharing sessions led by survivors and caregivers, thematic dialogues on psychosocial care, and collaborative planning for community-level initiatives. The forum meets regularly with a structured agenda, enabling meaningful exchange while encouraging collaboration rather than duplication of efforts.

By creating a supportive and coordinated platform, the Cancer Support Forum enables organizations to work in synergy, fostering a more connected, compassionate, and patient-centred cancer support network across healthcare and community settings.
