About Us
Rising India Research Foundation (RIRF), a Section 8 non-profit founded in 2013 by Dr. Girish Lad. We are a research and action organization dedicated to improving women's health, mental wellbeing, and social equity across India. For over a decade, RIRF has been at the forefront of improving women's health, mental well-being, and social equity across India. We translate data-driven research into practical, scalable programmes and policy guidance that deliver measurable improvements in psychosocial support, and community resilience.
We firmly believe that mental fitness is essential for overall well-being and productivity, while empowering women is a powerful driver of social and economic progress. By prioritizing these aspects, we strive to make a positive impact on individuals and society as a whole.
Our initiatives focus on addressing various public health concerns ranging from the pioneering 'Save the Baby Girl' initiative to address illegal sex selective abortions to identifying mental health issues among working women, addressing the psychological burden among cancer patients, caregivers and families and providing 360 degree solutions to the health challenges faced by midlife women.
Anchored in the core values of evidence, empathy, and strategic collaboration, we partner with government bodies, leading universities, and global healthcare institutions. Over more than a decade of pioneering service, RIRF has built an unyielding reputation for institutional integrity, compassion, and high-impact project execution.
