Impact of work on Physical and Mental Health of Working Women:

A study spanning over 500 working women in the cities of Mumbai and Pune was conducted in 2020, to gauge the impact of shouldering double responsibilities of household care and professional life among women. Working women from the Government sector, Private sector, teachers, and blue color employees participated in this research. The study was jointly conducted in partnership with Maharashtra State Women Commission (MSWC) and All India Institute of Local Self Government (AIILSG).

The research concluded with a realistic outcome depicting over 70% of women are facing the problems of either anxiety, stress or depression. Over 70% of women are having physical issues of obesity, sinus, thyroid, and women problems.
