Christmas Magic Brings Smiles to Young Cancer Warriors

Pune, December 14, 2023: The spirit of Christmas filled the air at Bharti Hospital as The Rising India Research Foundation's Center for Psycho-Oncology, in collaboration with the Texas School for Mental Health,in collaboration with YouWeCan Foundation, hosted a heartwarming Christmas Carnival for children battling cancer and their caregivers.

The event was a vibrant celebration filled with laughter, games, and delicious treats, offering a much-needed respite from the challenges of cancer treatment. Children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, were immersed in the festive atmosphere, enjoying face painting, balloon art, and exciting games.

While the children were having fun, caregivers and nursing staff participated in a supportive sharing session, providing an opportunity to connect and discuss the emotional toll of caring for a child with cancer. The open dialogue fostered a sense of community and understanding among those navigating similar journeys.
