Silly Point - Cricket and Mental Health
Cricket holds immense significance in the Asian community and is revered almost like a religion. The sport enjoys tremendous popularity not only in Asia but also in countries like England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies, and many others. Cricket, being a team game with various formats, demands both physical and mental strength.
In the game of cricket, there exists a field position known as Silly Point. This position is located close to the batsman and carries a high risk of injury, hence the term "Silly Point." Interestingly, in real life, we often find ourselves in similar precarious positions. Silly Point can also symbolize situations where we may make unwise decisions.
To promote awareness about mental health, Dr. Girish Lad and the renowned cricket reporter, Mr. Dwarkanath Sanzgiri, have collaborated on an entertaining program that explores mental health methodology.
