Rising India in association with Maharashtra State Women Commission has conducted research on the following topics: Impact of work on physical and mental health of working women. 602 working women from different age group and profession were interviewed to find out the various physical and mental implications of their work. Implementation of PCPNDT Act in the state of Rajasthan & Maharashtra. IMPLEMENTED IN OVER 100 DISTRICTS. UNFPA reports states that over 1.6 million of girls are aborted in India every year due to male preference. A technology based system & method for effective implementation of the Act to stop female feticide. A device named Active Tracker is connected to an ultrasound machine & it records every activity of the ultrasound in a secure manner. The access of this data is given to district collectors & authorities to monitor the ultrasound centers and pregnancies. This invention has been used successfully in over 100 districts of various states in India including Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Telangana etc.
